Ocelots Force 35 Turnovers In Win Over Macomb

LIVONIA, MI – The Ocelots played host to Macomb looking for their 7th conference win of the season.

The offense would fail to get clicking early, and really throughout the game. Macomb would take advantage of the slow Ocelot start and jump out to a 6-0 lead. Schoolcraft would never take the lead in the 1st quarter as after 10 minutes, things were deadlocked at 18 a side. Schoolcraft would take a quick lead following a Garyana Overton free throw, but Macomb would get it right back on the next possession just 3 minutes into the 2nd quarter. The Ocelots would regain the lead with 50 seconds remaining in the half and take their 27-25 lead into the locker room.

Schoolcraft would begin to pull away in the 3rd quarter as with just under 3:30 left in the quarter, a Ravyn Guy 3-pointer would push the Ocelot lead to 10. The game would remain around the double-digit mark for Schoolcraft up until the final buzzer, marking a 63-48 victory for the Ocelots.

Ravyn Guy led all scorers with 20 points off the bench, including 4-7 shooting from behind the arc. Siena McNitt would join Guy in double figures with 14 points.

Schoolcraft looks to make it 3 wins in a row as they travel to Flint on Saturday to face off against a Mott Bears team, they defeated 96-37 earlier in the season. Tip-off is slated for 1:00PM.
