Ocelots Complete Home and Home Sweep of Delta

UNIVERSITY CENTER, MI – The Ocelots returned the favor to Delta and hit the road to square off again, this time at their place.

Defense would be the key after the opening tip for the Ocelots, looking to jump out to an early lead. Schoolcraft would be up for the challenge, holding Delta to just 4 points, while forcing 9 Delta turnovers and holding them to 16.7% from the field. Sharon Smith would have 5 points in the 1^st quarter leading the way for Schoolcraft en route to 15 points in the quarter. Things would open in the 2^nd quarter for both teams. Schoolcraft would shoot 54.5% with 22 points while Garyana Overton would pace the way with 5 points. Schoolcraft would see a 37-24 lead going into the half.

Schoolcraft would continue to roll in the 2^nd half. Scoring 22 points again in the 3^rd quarter, the Ocelots would continue to push their lead, outscoring Delta by 8 in the quarter. The Ocelots would force 4 more turnovers while holding Delta to 7.1% from the field. Looking to just continue the way in the 4^th quarter to close out their 7^th win, Amelia Levine would score 8 points in 10 minutes with the Ocelots closing out a 74-55 win.

Schoolcraft returns home on Saturday hosting Parkland College (IL) for a 1:00PM tip.
