Late Goals by Schoolcraft Leads to 2-2 Tie

LIVONIA, MI – The Ocelots played host to a familiar MCCAA for in St. Clair County Community College for a 7:00 PM kick-off in Schoolcraft's annual tailgate game.

The Ocelots would come out of the kick-off looking to put on a show for the largest crowd of the year. Schoolcraft would post 7 shots in the 1st half making the Skippers keeper stop 3 of the shots. Unfortunately, St. Clair's only shot on net in the 1st half would beat the keeper Alexander Heitsch to put St. Clair up 1-0 in the 1st half.

St. Clair would remain in the lead by a 1-0 score until the 72nd minute when Gavin Lamere would break through the Skippers last line to knot the game up at 1 apiece. In the 84th minute, St. Clair would look like it would break the hearts of the Ocelots as they would tuck a goal into the bottom right corner to go up 2-1. However, shortly after the ensuing kick-off, Pablo Martin would get a pass from Yunus Ozbek to tie the game at 2 as the whole team would celebrate together. A couple of moments per team would be stopped as the game would remain a 2-2 tie as the final whistle blew.

Schoolcraft returns to the field on Monday looking to get back into the win column as they play host against Owens Community College at 2:00PM.
