Ocelots Fall to 2-2 In Close Loss

LIVONIA, MI – The Ocelots hosted an unfamiliar team in Patrick and Henry, a team receiving votes in the latest NJCAA rankings.

On a Sunday matinee, Schoolcraft was ready to roll in arguably a top 20 matchup as Patrick and Henry were receiving votes. It was a feel out period for much of the 1^st half of the game until the 44^th minute when Luan Gargiolli broke the tie on an assist from Nino Schembri on Luan's first touch of the game.

The Patriots would continue to fight, in the 65^th minute, Patrick and Henry would tie the game 1 at and 16 minutes later, the Patriots would score the game winning goal.

It was a physical match with 35 fouls, 17 on Schoolcraft and 18 on P&H. Along with the 35 fouls, 9 yellow cards would be handed out throughout the match.

Schoolcraft goes back to a regional matchup on Sunday, September 15, playing host to Lakeland Community College with kick-off at 12:00PM.
