GAME HIGHLIGHTS (SEVEN INNINGS)

  • Each team would plate a run in the 1st inning as the Cougars would score on wild pitch and Noah McCann would hit a 2-out double in the bottom half to plate Reed Beatty.
  • Following a KVCC home run in the top of the 5th, that would put the Cougars up 6-1, the Ocelots would score 4 times in the bottom half as Devin Elder, McCann and Juan Suarez would all register RBIs on hits.
  • KVCC would bounce back with 2 runs in the top of the 6th to make that game 8-5 which would mark the end of the scoring for game 1.

GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS (SEVEN INNINGS)

  • After holding KVCC scoreless in the top of the 1st, the Ocelots would plate 2 runs as Jace Walerski would single home Luke Nelson and Shane Carnes would double home Walerski.
  • Schoolcraft would see their lead grow to 4-0 after 3 innings as Braylon Schroeder would notch and RBI single in the bottom of the 2nd and Shane Carnes would hit a solo home run in the bottom of the 3rd.
  • KVCC's offense would show up in the top of the 4th, scoring 5 runs on 2 hits but working 4 walks.
  • Another KVCC run in the 5th would make it 6-4 before Schoolcraft would explode for 6 runs in the bottom of the 6th.
  • The Ocelots would plate runs on a Jace Walerski double, a Tony Mendez single, an RBI ground out from Shane Carnes, a single from Nate Morse and a double from Tashawn Eatmon.
