Ocelots Teams and Athletes Fill Up MCCAA Academic Awards

LIVONIA, Mi - Today, the MCCAA released the list of 97 athletic programs and over 1,200 student-athletes that earned academic honors for the 2024-25 school year. Among those listed, 4 Ocelots programs (Women's Soccer, Baseball, Softball, and Women's Basketball) would be named an MCCAA All-Academic Team.

Out of the 4 Ocelot programs named to the all-academic list, Women's Soccer would earn the highest GPA with a 3.47 followed up by Baseball (3.25), Softball (3.10), and Women's Basketball (3.08).

Among the 1,200 student-athletes earning honors, 72 Ocelot athletes would be named to the All-MCCAA team which honors the student-athletes that earn a GPA of 3.20 or higher for the school year. 15 Ocelots would be named to the acdemic all-conference team which awards student-athletes that earn a GPA ranging from a 3.00 to a 3.19.
